Though all of our stickers are durable and waterproof, none of our vinyl performs the way that polyester labels do. If you’re wondering if this the option for you, ask yourself these questions: Do I need a sticker that’ll last through freezing temperatures? Do I need a label that can withstand constant exposure to 100 + heat? Do I need something that will still be readable if dragged through dirt and grit? Do I need a label that will last as long as the product I put it on? Do I need to apply a sticker to dirty, gritty or oily surfaces? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then poly labels were made for you.
Polyester labels are thin, lightweight and durable, making them a versatile adhesive label. You see them everywhere– from oil drums to electronics to soda bottles. Constructed of fine layers of polyester mylar for optimum protection and superior clarity, you get a film with incomparable clarity for a flush, no-label look.
The reinforced layers have a mechanical stability that resists extreme temperatures, rough treatment, and chemical exposure. In addition, polyester stickers are resin-printed. That means that your images, barcodes, and text become part of the label itself, and will never fade as long as the label itself is intact. This makes polyester labels the material of choice for asset tags in the electronics industry, construction sites, and laboratories.
Many times, poly labels are more resilient than the adhesives they’re backed with. We carry polyester mylar with a variety of adhesives for whatever your application. Most often, they are backed with an acrylic adhesive for permanent application on nearly any surface. This super aggressive adhesion works on smooth and rough surfaces alike– from glass and metal to corrugated, oily or textured– polyester labels will stick to them all for years. If polyester decals are too rigid for you, try our custom adhesive vinyl stickers.
