What is the difference between the new ink printing process and the old paper printing process?
The old thermal printing process would print onto wax paper then transfer it using a heat process. The newer inkjet printing process does not use any paper. Instead, it prints directly to the material. That is a great process because you can see the grain through your printed photo.
Is printing on wood dangerous?
Printing on a block, veneer, or sheets of wood is a very safe process as long as you have a well-ventilated area. If you print using our screen printing technique, you should never have any issues.
Do you use transfer paper for the image in your printing process?
No, we do not use any paper in our printing image process. We skip this step by printing directly to the wood piece in our printing process. The only time we use transfer paper is when we print on bamboo using water-based ink.
How long does it take?
Our average turn-around time is five days.
